DEADLINE:
Resignations for 2007-2008 school year must be received by the
Placement & Assignment office no later than June 30, 2008.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. I am considering resigning from the District to pursue other options. What
happens if I change my mind and want to return to work?
A. If you were a permanent teacher and return within 39 months of paid service,
you will be reinstated to your permanent status and will be on the same or
equivalent salary table.
Q. If I resign from the District and then am rehired a year later,
do I keep the first seniority date?
A. No. Even though you resigned and returned within the 39 months, you do not
retain your seniority date. When you reinstate, your new seniority date is
your first day of service with the District.
