LACOE CTEL Test Preparation Classes: LAUSD is pleased to continue a partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) to offer California Teacher of English Learners (CTEL) test preparation classes. CTEL test preparation classes during the 2009/2010 school year. CTEL test preparation classes in preparation for June 12, 2010 examination began on Saturday, March 6, 2010 . All regular CTEL test preparation classes concluded on May 8, 2010. Register for these CTEL Review test preparation classes on the Learning Zone https://lz.lausd.net/lz/index.jsp . After logging in using your single sign-on, click on the courses tab, then the class offerings tab. In the keyword box, enter CTEL, and in the program box scroll to ALL then hit enter on your keyboard or click search box. Once the classes come up, double click on the class you would like to enroll in.

LACOE CTEL Test Preparation Classes for Administrators: LACOE has developed a highly successful California Teacher of English Learners (CTEL) curriculum and will be offering training to prepare administrators for the state CTEL exam. Training for these classes will be provided by a current LAUSD administrator and will provide strategies to administrators for addressing the needs of the EL students for whom they work.
