KDS Online CTEL Test Preparation Classes:

Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS) offers online test preparation for the CTEL Examination. The online course features online, video-based, on-demand, interactive sessions. The sessions include:

• 21 Topics, each including pre- and post- assessment questions, optional discussion board participation, and one topic focused on CTEL modeled practice essay question
  
• Printable study guides and resources included

Participants who complete the online course by October 15th will be eligible to receive a CTEL Voucher for the December 5th exam. For additional voucher information, please click here.

LACOE CTEL Test Preparation Classes:

LAUSD is pleased to continue our partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) to offer California Teacher of English Learners (CTEL) test preparation classes. There is only one CTEL review class available in preparation for the December 5, 2009 examination.

CTEL test preparation classes in preparation for the June 12, 2010 examination begin on Saturday, March 6, 2010.

Register for these reduced cost CTEL test preparation classes on the Learning Zone https://lz.lausd.net/lz/index.jsp . After logging in using your single sign-on, click on the courses tab, then the class offerings tab.  In the keyword box, enter CTEL, and in the program box scroll to ALL then hit enter on your keyboard or click search box. Once the classes come up, double click on the class you would like to enroll in.

CTEL test preparation review classes will also be offered in preparation for the June 12, 2010 examination.  The procedure for enrollment in review classes is the same as the procedure outlined above.
