A:  The assisting teacher needs to sign each section of the Performance Assessment and the school site administrator or designee will be required to sign the last page.

Q:  Do I have to be an employee of LAUSD and/or a student to attend a forum?
A:  No.

Q:  I’ve completed my credential and am ready to teach. Can you help me get hired or find a teaching position?
A:  Yes. Contact our office after you have completed the online application to become a teacher at http://www.teachinla.com/teachinla/credentialed.html.

Q:  I joined the Career Ladder years ago but did not complete any work, do I have to reapply?
A:  You do not have to reapply, but you must take the online quiz to reinstate your membership.

Q:  Is there any other way to join the Career Ladder other than attending a forum?

A:  Please call the Career Ladder Office if you are unsure whether your job classification is under Unit B or F.

Q:  Can I turn in more than one Performance Assessment at a time?
A:  No. Performance Assessments must be turned in one at a time.

Q:  Does the Paraeducator Career Ladder support individuals studying to become a school counselor or school psychologist?
A:  Yes.
