Degrees completed outside the United States can be used towards a California teaching credential if an official transcript is evaluated and approved by an authorized agency. The fee for this evaluation is approximately $200. Career Ladder participants employed with Los Angeles Unified School District are charged $25 with the balance of the fee paid by the Career Ladder Office. This service is only provided on a one-time basis to Career Ladder members who have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher and are on track for a teaching credential program.  For an application or for more information, call the Career Ladder Office at (213) 241-4571
