Applications are currently being accepted for the position of school psychologist. Both 10-month and 12-month assignments are available. The starting annual salary for a 12-month assignment is $72,336 to $90,084 and 10-month assignment salary begins at $61,250 to $76,278.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Provides psychological services to general education students and disabled students; conducts psycho-educational assessments to assist in determining eligibility for special education services and the development of educational plans; consults with school personnel. Parents and others concerned with the progress of students; provides individual and group counseling services. When qualified, provides such services in the student's primary language or to deaf children using communication skills for the deaf when appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

An earned master's degree or advance degree of equivalent standard from a recognized college or university. Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing service as a school psychologist.

4.   Qualified candidates are invited to complete the online application.

       Cover Letter and Non-Confidential Reference Form (Current LAUSD Employee)

6.    In addition to #5 above, request & submit a letter of recommendation from each referent.
