The Certificated Recruitment and Selection Section (CRSS)

Teacher Recruitment - The LAUSD encourages credentialed secondary teachers to apply online for immediate openings in the District. Current Initiatives

Math & Science Initiative: An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 17th at 10:00 a.m. for Math and Science majors and individuals with math and science backgrounds interested in teaching. Positions are available in our middle and senior high schools now. In order to register and obtain meeting location information, please call (213) 241-5300.

Special Education Initiative - An informational meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8th for those considering a career in the field of Special Education. Topics will include the employment process, special education credentialing opportunities, as well as teaching special education in the District.  Individuals with related experiences and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of special education students are invited to register for the meeting and obtain meeting location by contacting Doreen Mendoza at careersinsped@lausd.net.
