The Administrative Assignment Unit is responsible for all personnel assignment / audit transactions for 2700 certificated management and contract level employees. The Unit provides administrative direction, coordination, and technical expertise to administrators regarding certificated selection and assignment policies, Board Rules, Administrative Regulations, AALA bargaining unit agreement, and the resolution of problems referred to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

In addition, the Administrative Selection Unit posts all certificated administrator vacancies, coordinates the implementation of administrative selection procedures, including formal exams for school-based administrative positions, and processes retired administrators as interim substitutes, as well as out of District new hires for administrative positions.

The Human Resources Division will staff all schools and offices with qualified certificated employees who will educate and support our diverse student population.
